Our Story
The LIMU story starts with Gary J. Raser. Gary came from humble circumstances, the son of an often unemployed father. He sought a way out, a way to make a better life happen for him. And it did.
He had a storied career as a network marketer who helped others by translating his success into their success. Then, as an experienced leader and network marketing business owner, he absolutely knew what to do once he came across exactly what he’d been seeking.
It landed on his desk one fated morning, a study about a brown seaweed called limu moui (or limu). Found in abundance off the island shores of Tonga, limu, a staple of the Tongan diet, contained a marine bioactive called Fucoidan. This intrigued Gary and some deeper digging led him to hundreds upon hundreds of scientific studies on the varied benefits of Fucoidan. Excitement immediately set in. He began learning of the many health benefits of Fucoidan and liked what he found. After some time and the research of a lot of scientists, a proprietary Fucoidan extract was created—the LIMU company and LIMU ORIGINAL™ were born. The rest is history that is still being written.
